Hameer Abbasi
Hello, everyvody. I'm on the EVGA GeForce 550 Ti 2048 MB, and i'm having an issue with OpenGL. The nVidia site states that this card supports upto OpenGL 4.1. However, in OpenGL Extensions Viewer, I'm getting fully supported stuff only upto 2.1, and partially supported stuff upto 3.3. I know this is an EXTREMELY weird problem. I'm on Chimera v1.9.1, with only GraphicsEnabler=Yes and OpenCL enabler as well as an injected device ID. The system details can be found in my signature. Edit: I've attached the exported file, and my DSDT. BTW, it doesn't contain any graphics card information. Mods: Any way to move this to the Graphics forum? mitch_de
Full 2.1 and partly 3.x is NORMAL with OS X! Dont worry about that and you can do nothing else as waiting future Apple OpenGL dev. Also : Newer OpenCL commands only are useful if also Apps (Games= use them - and they cant do if Apple doesnt support them. So it doesnt matter for OS X todays. PS: OpemGLExViewer can test(bench) OpenGL 3.x funktions if you use the OpenGLProfile CORE in the Main Menue.
