Arrr, every time I try to download the file I get a error from the forum:

"Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available."

But I'm logged in... What's wrong here?

Btw: Wow, there will be qe soon thats just totally awesome ;)

Have you another link for me to download the file?

Edit: Whats the gfxenabler and where exactly do I have to put it into? In the com.apple.Boot.plist ?

And in which line in this file?

Well it seems that the machine wants to boot in 64bit mode... but even when i try to add: arch=x86_32 it fails...

Heres the picture:

I used the Chameleon 2 NBI bootloader but I don't know which kernel exactly... something that was called mach_kernel_atom2

Btw: Sorry for the quality of the picture... its only a mobile phone cam. And wihout camera flash it would look even poorer

When I try to boot to my usb key it says: Can't find mach_kernel_atom2

When I'm at the darwin screen I see two hdd's one is my internal hdd which is called "Snow Leopard", the other hdd is my usb install key which is called "Mac OS X Install DVD".

Doesn't matter where i type the command in... it doesn't work.

At the internal hdd and usb key it says: Can't find hd(1.2)/mach_kernel_atom2

Or did I make something wrong?

Uhmm.. sorry that I ask but can I install the 10.6.4 Combo Update directly after the installation when I'm on the desktop for the first time, or must I download another kernel...? Because I heard that the 10.6.2 update removes the support for the Atom processor.

sure

ok, the installation of the retail Mac OS X 10.6.0 is ready soon. Then I install the new kernel and after reboot I install the 10.6.4 Combo Update and after that install your new bootloader.

And after I installed your new bootloader and back in OS X I can install all the necessary kext's right?

Is that the correct order? I only want to be sure :)

first

replace kernel

put bootloader as i wrote

remove kernelpatcher.dylib from modules as you will use already patched kernel

restart

then update to 10.6.4 and sure that you use atom kernel then restart

update to gfx update 1.0
