Make your com.apple.boot.plist look like this and save it either to your /Extra folder or on your Snow Leopard install itself.

 

Verified to work on Snow Leopard (can't see why it wouldn't work on Tiger or Leopard)

Are there meant to be and return's ie new lines or is the the string one length, tryed this with my leo install but got nothing,maybe i should try without choosing 950 gma during install. I ran disk utily after to repaire premission as well. Is there any way i can grab the stock 950gma stuff from the ideneb install disc?
