Installing hackintosh on Dell Inspiron N5010

Hey guys, How ya doin?
So i googled up my pc compatibility for mac but honestly i couldn't find anything.
Yeah guys that means i need your help.

Take a look;

BIOS: BIOS Date: 01/09/10 15:17:22 Ver: 08.00.10 
Processor: Intel® Core i5 CPU       M 480  @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
Chip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x68E0)
Display Memory: 2229 MB
Dedicated Memory: 505 MB
Shared Memory: 1723 MB

Mainboard: Dell 005WC3 A09

That's it. If anything else needed just ask i'll try to look.

I think you can install mac. You should use this or this guide. You can make the graphics work with this. But i dont know about your ethernet, wifi or audio so you should list that.

Wow so many comments . Thanks i'll try to learn about these.


Here they are;


Network : Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter

Sound Device : ATI IDT High Definition Audio CODEC


The audio will probably work with VoodooHDA. The network i can't really tell. Maybe try to find somewhere what chipset it uses.

What should i do then? These tutorials are so complicated. Which programme will i use on setups or whatever. Please i'm waiting for an answer . Thanks


On setups? You mean the install or installing kexts? If you follow the steps from Pandora it really isn't hard. You need to try it. Kext can be found with a quick google search most of the time.
