(IPC 10.5.6) Getting Input/output Error on my hp pavilion 753n PLEASE HELP!

ok so i am completely stuck and have to clue what to do. I have IPC 10.5.6 and i am trying to install on my hp pavilion 753n. I am currently running XP. The disc loads up fine but when i go to {censored} utility and format the partitioned space to max osx extended journaled i get a input/out error. I threw the disc away a while back ago and i came back to this topic cause i went to the apple store and saw the macs i gotta have leopard. PLEASE HELP!!! I really do want this OS on my pc.

I am installing on a 80gb IDE hard Drive.
