About This File

A simple tool to ease the daily usage of mac/hack.

1. CreateInstallMedia

~ Run createinstallmedia directly from your external drive. Placing the macOS installer (.app) in /Application/ is no longer necessary.

~ Works for all macOS versions starting from Mavericks.

~ The terminal command can be tricky sometimes, use it to create your "vanilla" installer in no time.

~ Remember to install your bootloader (Clover or Enoch) once it's done (optional).

2. EFI

~ Mount/Unmount your ESP partitions in just one click.

3. Show/Hide

~ Toggle between show/hide files or desktop icons :)

4. Allow Anywhere

~ Toggle the gatekeeper to be able to run apps that are downloaded from third party sites.

5. ScreenShots

~ By default, mac captures screenshot in .png type. Have the power to change the types based on your needs.

6. Login Message

~ You may set a custom message at your login screen.

7. Dock Spacer

~ Add space between dock icons.

Special credits:

~ Thanks to Talat A. Özcan for the App's icon

Enjoy :thumbsup_anim:

~ Show/Hide Files

Click the same button to toggle the hidden files. Hidden files will appear/disappear at the root of your hard disk.

~ Show/Hide Desktop Icons

Same as above. Instead of root, observe your desktop icons when toggling.

I tried everything, but I do not see hidden files, and the icons do not hide when I click Desktop Icons.

In version 1.6, it worked great.

I do not know what's wrong, it does not work for me now?

"Toggle between show/hide files or desktop icons"

That's what I should show on the picture but not.

If I click the EFI Show app, I get this image as you see it.

In previous versions, there were two separate buttons for Show/Hide. One for showing and the other for hiding. In version v1.7, you have to click the same button to toggle between showing and hiding.
