About This File

A tool that searches Appstore for missing macOSes.

Every year when a new macOS is released, the older ones get missing in Appstore. Making the Appstore's search button completely useless!

For example, if you are searching for Sierra or El Capitan now, you may NEVER find it anymore using the search button.

1941161356_Appstoresearchbutton.png.a69beec8cef9bc1971aed2b1d68aae7c.png

As a result, this tool was developed to resolve that issue. Here's an app that communicates with Appstore and allows you to download your desired vanilla macOS (even the older ones).

Have a great day and enjoy the tool. :thumbsup_anim:

This tool does not work with me. When I click on the El Capitan icon, I get a notification

  "Cannot Connect to Apple Store".

When I click on the High Sierra icon, do I get the picture below?

Can you please have a switch to toggle the dreadful thunder/rain noise off, Playing music thru iTunes no good when run app

I got around it by renaming rain.mp3 to rain1.mp3

Otherwise good app, well done.

Hi @luky35 ,

Thanks for testing it in Mojave. I will look into this if the problem still persists after Mojave has been released officially.

Just re-uploaded a new version. The new version comes with mute/play button as requested.

Thanks for the suggestion @STLVNUB:)

Hi luky35,

I guess this was just a Mojave beta bug. El Capitan is detected in Appstore now (DP 10).

If you get this error, then I'm afraid that Apple has temporarily removed the image from their server. This could be a temporary issue. Since, the image is downloaded directly from Applestore, I have no control on this. Like you, I wish Apple will add the image back ASAP.

nice! Dziękuję!

it needs 5.1 sound system for sound effects :)

working fine on Mojave here,

would be awesome if it could do old versions, like mavericks, but i believe thats not an app store anymore

Yes, Mavericks is no longer available in Appstore. Otherwise, I'd have added it into the list. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. :thumbsup_anim:

Sorry, Yosemite support has been depreciated.
