That's not a kext issue, a wake from sleep will fix it, maybe a memory allocation error, we need some dsdt fixes!

can someone provide me the codecdump of the device: Latitude E6420 device-id 0x111d76e7 for which you are using this kext? I need to identify the nodes in the platforms.xml. I would be very thankful!

How do you set Layoutid to 0?

wern apfel

Posted

search for layout-id @your DSDT.aml and set it to 0, or simply remove that part.

"layout-id",
                        Buffer (0x04)
                        {
                             0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00
                        },
