    You are absolutely right. I know that G4s especially 8500T can be found for less than 100$ but the cheapest Mini with dGPU I have ever seen was 300$. Not that I need more computers to play with ... but it will be fun to see it working and be able to enjoy some games on low/medium 1080p.

    I bought it from someone local, but you can find them cheap on Ebay. I've seen them for as low as $100 USD on Ebay (try searching for 'HP Mini EliteDesk 800 G4 65W 8th Gen i5-8500T' and inspect the listings). Sometimes sellers don't include the AMD graphics in the title/text (maybe because they don't even know what they're selling).

    I am hopeful that the OC OpenDuet issues that I've experienced since OC 0.9.7 are resolved in the next release of OC. The fix "Fixed problem loading non-firmware runtime drivers" seems promising.

    It's because of the ACPI files. I take the file from the wrong EFI: DSDT-S3.aml SSDT-EC.aml and put it in my EFI the WIFI goes with my EFI.

    There's no reason in your EFI that I can see for it not to work. The only difference between you EFI and the second one you shared is a boot arg setting the country code for itlwm to German, itlwm_cc=DE You can try adding that.

    I currently have Sonoma 14.4.1 on it but have also tried Ventura. I haven't tried anything else for 3 weeks, but I can't get any further. I found an EFI on the net so that the WIFI works on Sonoma but the EFI is not for my SYSTEM, someone created it. Just no chance with my EFI.     @jrhende The EFI attached to Post #1 already includes the "official" AppleALC.kext from Acidanthera. I'm not familiar with the link you posted, so could you please edit your post to explain the differences between your proposed AppleALC.kext and the "official" Acidanthera version here that we are using in the EliteDesk 800 G4/G5 Mini? Thank you!

    @Mirone ive tried the 3 versions of the kext and the script but none fixed the hissing noise issue on startup. I understand that you may be busy and i thank you for the time you spent trying.

    This EFI already has AirportItlwm which will work for both the AX200 and AX210 but you're saying it's not working? What version of Sonoma are you using?

    Hello, I have an Acemagican AM05 Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U and an extreme WIFI problem. I have already bought 2 cards and everything is set up absolutely correctly, but my EFI doesn't start no matter which card I use. I use the Intel AX200 or can also use the AX210. The cards are absolutely intact, I tested that on Windows and Linux. The card also works under Mac OS Sonoma with an EFI that I found online but is not for my system. I have absolutely no idea how to get the cards to work with my EFI and I'm asking for help config.plist.zip

    Do any of you still have these NUC models with ALC700 as codec??? I have a new layout to try 22 with this Kext. AppleALC.Layout.22.kext.zip This is how I found the nodes, obviously everything works on Windows, but on Linux the front jack doesn't work because it isn't mapped correctly.     my spec: i9-14900K Raptor Lake AMD Radeon RX 580 (Polaris 20) G.Skill Trident 32GB DDR5-6000 Crucial MX500 500GB SATA Asus TUF Gaming Z790-Pro WiFi Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX211 160MHz Realtek ALC1220P / ALC S1220A Realtek RTL8125B Sonoma 14.4.1 I just noticed that my desktop never wake up after going to sleep. The only way is to manually hold down power button until it's off then I press power button to turn on. I have wireless usb keyboard and mouse. Not sure what I need to do. These are my kext and config, All SSDTs generated from SSDTTime. Cannot unlock CFG using dortania nor RU guide (0x0000001a EFI_SECURITY_VIOLATION). So I enabled both AppleCpuPmCfgLock and AppleXcpmCfgLock. Maybe I need to Add igfxonln=1 to boot-args but this is for iGPU. config.plist
