Hi, have installed the OSX on an intel 828 chipset. could anybody advise me on how to get the display color correct, displays black and white.

Check the wiki, but I believe some motherboards with onboard graphics had similar issues. Try going into the BIOS and increasing the amount of RAM set aside for VideoRAM to the max allowed. If your BIOS has that option of course.
