The desktop is a blatant rip-off of Mac OS X but so what. The dock actually has more impressive
animation than OS X. It is Ubuntu taken to the next level. It installs very easily and quickly, yea it's
a keeper.

I found gOS 2 Rocket very very beta and almost unusable (both in VMware and Native Install). But gOS Spaces looks intriguing and maybe they may have got the kinks out.

There are some really good looking but very buggy distributions. Another example is Dreamlinux.
Anyway, I am going to download gOS Space after I finish downloading Mandriva 2008 Spring.

Except for that dock clone, gOS is rather unimpressive... and buggy indeed.

I just tried out gOS Spaces 2.9 and gOS Rocket G 2 (Gnome Version) on my lappy and they are very impressive.
Yes, it is obvious that they are Mac knockoffs when considering the GUI, but they are nice and easy and not to mention beautiful looking.
I am going to be playing with these a lot over the summer.
Beautifully designed. Kudos to gOS and its developers. Great distro!
