i have a question to the Hardware Compatibility List thats say to the Radeon 9550 256MB:



That means there is no other possibility as this two resolutions ?
I need a resolution 1600x1024 for my SGI Monitor, somebody knows a card which work?

as the actual hcl listed, it seems that no graphic card will allow a higher res.
only the gma900 or 950 on intel boards are running higher and can meet your
expectations according to the post i´ve read.

i´m also looking for a solution. but i think it´s only a matter of time until
the right guys will hack this issue. it won´t be so far away.

when i will have a look on the new macbook, i see, that it is running with an
ati mobility x1600 on a pci x structure. this, i think will be the base for our lucky eyes.

so, be patient like me & stay informed ;-)
