Full Version: XP Pro in Boot Camp - no 3D graphics

Hi.
Just purchased a MacBook (black).
1st I loaded Boot Camp and then successfully installed XP Pro, but it will not run games at present under XP Pro as I get an error message about not being able to find 3D graphics (or something like that). This is annoying as the graphics in the OS X are amazing and one of the main reasons for switching to the MacBook.
2nd I then purchased and installed Parallels 3 and successfully installed XP Pro on a separate virtual machine (to avoid the many conflicts with Boot Camp that I've read about). XP Pro seems to run fine in this VM mode, except that there is no wireless adaptor found in system hardware and hence I am unable to activate XP Pro or to access any other internet.
Any suggestions as to how to rectify these issues?
Thanks.

I'll let you know the answers to both those questions tomorrow - I'm at work (here in London) right now.
Cheers.

The main game is "Medieval Lords - Build, Defend, Expand".
The exact error message is "Unable to create Direct 3D device".
Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Is the video card recognized correctly in your system? Check your device manager.
What about other 3D apps?

Do you have the correct DirectX software installed that the game likely requires?
