OK, this is one of the voting threads where I needed nominations and you guys supplied them. So if you don't like the choices, you have nobody to blame but yourself (because you had a chance to nominate). VOTE VOTE VOTE
This poll was created on 4/5/08 and will be checked on 5/5/08. The person with the most votes will be declared the winner.

Well, when quite a few posts of the original thread were deleted, a few nominations went lost (mine among others).
Not to worry

(And BTW, I didn't nominate myself because I found it a childish and preposterous thing to do).

Is this thing the final thinga-ma-jig?
If so, not having Alessandro17 as a contestant is considered in many countries a crime, punishable by the severest punishment known to man. A 45 minute ban.
And you're lucky because I'm being lenient, if Sabr was here it could easily be 48 minutes. That's almost an hour! Unfortuanitely for you, Amnesty International have said they will not intervene.
All the contestants here are great posters. But really, no Alessandro17 means I've lost interest.

I am sorry, but I feel I must say it: whoever wins this award it won't be a full victory, considering that a couple of contenders have been left out.

HOLY CRAP, I did forget Colonel. I'll have to send a special prize to him or something.
Plus, Aless is in the final heat for favorite donator, so all is not lost for him.

Indeed. Alessandro and Colonel should be included.
Every one of the five people listed here is a great contributor to this forum. I don't want to vote for myself, but choosing between Paranoid Marvin and ~pcwiz is near impossible! I haven't voted yet

Not to dog this whole thing, but until I got on this section of the forum I had never even heard of any of these posters.
Where do all of you hang out normally? Are all of the favorite posters on the real mac side of this forum? And not on the hackintosh side. I mean I'm usually in either post install forum, sound, networking or OSX leopard installation issues and never once have i seen any of these posters out there helping in those sub forums. Believe me there are plenty of users who never get answers to there topics. Some I agree do need to do more searching though.
In the few forums I have been apart of I have noticed a trend and that is that the elite knowledgeable people seem to hang out in only a few forums and the more noobie types seem to hang out in another part and there is not as much mixing as there probably should be.
I hope that is not the case with insanelymac but some of what I have seen here leads me to believe thats probably correct more often then not.
In any case I hope we can correct it and I really hope this does not cause a big stink. I'm just curious I guess if anyone has noticed the same thing and if not maybe I'm way off here.

In order to understand what is going on in this thread, you should know that four of the competitors were nominated by me, mainly based on the quality of their posts in "The Big Issues [Real Life]" and, in the case of erei33, also for his news posts.
Another contender nominated himself and another user.
So all the nomination was done by two people.
