My PC monitor is approaching 3 years old and is already starting to show signs of breakdown (of course, it is a no-name Toys R Us TV/Monitor I got for $90 on clearance).
I'm a bit tight on cash right now, so I was wondering if there was a way I could use my MacBook Pro's display for the PC while I try to save up for a new monitor.
Odd and probably noobish question, but I just thought I'd ask.

i think you could try using a app from logmein.com. you can control your pc/hackintosh through your macbook.

last i checked, the logmein line works with mac if the remote computer runs OS X. the controlling pc must still be windows based. and it's not cheap. VNC or Remote desktop connection would be the better solution in this case, i think.

I use VINE Server and Chicken of the VNC Client on my OSx86 PC's at home and work. On Windows, I use Real VNC Server and Client. I can use the PC to access the Mac and vice versa.
Both software are free.
