Full Version: Dell 1521 Laptop Can't detect hard drive

I have a Dell Insprion 1521 laptop.
I have the newest version of Mac 10.5.1 Leopard for AMD .
I have the newest BIOS update for v6 for the laptop.

When I try to install the OSX software it will not pickup my hard drive so I can install it.
I tried a fat32 format on one partition and NTFS on the main partition with Vista already loaded on there.
DoI need the whole harddrive to be FAT32 for the software to detect it?
Any help would be great.

I am having the same problem, does anyone know what could be wrong? I have a 160GB Sata
Drive which I think is the reason it is not working.
