i had firewire and my external firewire hdd working great in 10.4.1 but i cant get it to work in 10.4.3 8f1111.

im using an ASUS a8n32-sli mobo (with nforce4 chipset of course)

anyone else have this prob?

I just can say that my OS recognized firewire, but I can't tell if it works good.(since I had no firewire device.)

yeah mine detects too but every device i plug into it using 10.4.3 it just says unknown device in system profiler,. It doesnt show up anywhere else and I cant do anything with it. (well, i mean i dont know how to, if there is a way to)
