This isnt a BIG deal... but i have a wide screen (1440x900) and whenever i boot into Leopard it seems as if the resolution is stretched and the Apple and spinning circle are not centered... but when Leopard is loaded everything is set right. How can i fix this?!

I have no idea how you could do this, but I do recall in the days of Windows (boy I'm glad those are over), I would always load up custom screens to replace the windows logo with something of my own while booting up. If there's some way to customize the apple boot screen, maybe you can put in a picture with the correct aspect ratio (probably the same 4:3, but squished in so when your monitor displays it it stretches back out) and voila.

I think you should count your blessings though. Just be glad you go the darn thing running at all, lol.

This is likely because you are using hacked graphics kext. Try editing com.apple.boot.plist and adding Graphics Mode boot flag...
