So i am using an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard with my Mac and was wondering how the battery life is on it.
4 double A batteries is a lot to replace a lot. I was wondering does it go to sleep when you are not using it or is it always on?
thank you!

Battery time is fine. I replace mine about every 1.5 months.

Other than the "Tail" i don't see any point to a wireless keyboard...

the small footprint is a big plus ...but i dont see a point in having a full external keyboard without a 10-key pad. for me, it's worth the cord to have that additional feature.

That is my way of thinking to.
Though the tail also provides an additional 2 USB Ports, which to me are essential, even if they fight like hell to let you have your drive back.
It is like jerry springer trying to get a pen drive out of my keyboard
To my knowledge though, they are high speed 2.0 ports.

the new al keyboards have USB2, the ports on the older "pro" keyboards are only usb1.1
