I-m running a hackintosh and I-m planning to run maya (but probably on windows since I read mac maya is very buggy) Im choosing between buying a quadcore q6600cpu and a ecs 8800 gt 512MB video card. what-s better for me and will they run on a kalyway 10.5.2 mac without problems? I got a MB p35c-DS3r...

Go for the faster CPU. Newer ones are coming out that will be faster.
