And the chipest but compatible one?
And which so (10.4.x or 10.5.x) is best with this kinda hardware?


I'd like to use Logic an few plugin, this type of config run fast like or more than mac mini ?

i use an asus p5w dh deluxe.. which is older, ich7r and 975x. Runs beautifly.

I am sure you wont have any problems with any newer boards.. just focus on a board with leopard compatibility.. quad will work. To be honest, i can only reccomend this board to you, as it runs flawless in leopard for me. Also the Gigabyte P35 series kick ass in leopard.. but watchout for the ich9 chipsets and ahci mode in leopard.. it takes away some sata ports.
