just loaded 10.4.3 8f1111 on my acer 4210 core duo and it loaded great but the LAN/WiFi and sound does not work

I'm assuming that sound is Intel Integrated. You might be able to use this to get sound working. As for your network card, judging by the Hardware Compatibility lists on the Wiki, it doesn't seem to be listed. Still, that doesn't mean it might not work.
As a side note, you might want to download 10.4.4 (Arrr...maybe you can check that tharr Bay of Pirates), as there are a number of new kexts that may help add suport for some of your hardware!

give us a update on this. I have been thinking of getting that same machine. Does the gpu support quartz and ci? Whats the xbench score look like?

as far as the graphic are concern they can handle two HD 780P movies without dropping a frame
that is something my MAC MINI can not do
it has trouble playing ONE
HD780p with dropping a frame in quicktime
so i would recommend this laptop to anyone!!!
the only thing left to try and get it to work is Wifi, and maybe if someone can get it to duel boot too
