Well I finally gave up. I like so many others bought the ASRock P4Dual-915GL because of it's excellent compability at a low low price. I also have a wonderful DELL 2005FPW monitor.

Because of this I also purchased an ADD2 card to support DVI on this monitor and have a nice clean digital image. I have had no such luck and I wasn't sure if I had a defective motherboard or a bad card. Today I received this email.

Dear Sir,

P4Dual-915GL does not support ADD2 DVI card.

BR,

ASRock

Now I would love to upgrade to a LGA775 chip and motherboard but my budget is constrained.

Can anyone recommend a board that supports an ADD2 card with socket 478? It also needs to have all the wonderful compability I have experienced with 10.4.3 and the ASRock P4Dual-915GL.

Thanks

Bump!

Am I to assume that this is the only P478 board that provies superior osx86 performance?

Yes, in the Socket 478 world, it's the best, but all 478 CPU does not have XD... So if you can change to 775, change it
