Hi people

I tried the drivers on 10.4.1 and OSX didn't recognise the unit. The drivers install fine but the 'MOTU audio setup console' and cuemix apps dont run in 10.4.1

So I tried installing the drivers in 10.4.3 1111A(Jas Patch) and the drivers didn't even install!!??

So I looked into the extensions folder and saw two new ones for MOTU. one for audio and one for midi. I grabbed them from 10.4.1 (ive got triple boot with windows, 10.4.1 and 10.4.3) and stuck them in the extensions folder of 10.4.3 and copied over all the apps into the application folder too.

I tried looking in the plist files in the kexts but Ive no idea where to start. There is an entry for a GuiID which also shows up in the system configuration panel under firewire devices for the MOTU but it should be an integer in the plist file and its hex in sys config.

I did the kextcache thingy in terminal so I didnt get the 'xxx.kext cannot be used cos it hasnt been installed properly......' I then repaired all the permissions on the disk.

Still no luck.

I know its a longshot that someone else on this forum will have a MOTU 828, 828mk2, 896, 896HD or a traveller but if anyone does and is a bit more knowledgable than me with OSX then please have a go. If everyone has 1111a then please contact me and ill send you the kexts.
