I know I suck, so don't bother replying than.

But the rest of you that are confused, how did i do?

That's actually pretty nice. It reminds me of pills

O RLY?!

But nice work dude. Good 3D!

I can see that the rendering is quite well done, but the modeling is nothing to be proud of. It was merely created by taking a sphere, and dragging its vertices above its equator further away from the vertices below the equator, and then applying different materials to the vertices above and below the equator.

Nevertheless, good job on the rendering.

Did you know that some of the effects in The Polar Express were made in Cinema4D?

This is like scratching the surface of what C4D can do.

And I think you're old enough to stop watching The Polar Express.

how old is he, then?

Your purple(magenta) pill leaning against the others has a BLUE reflection on the surface(the same as the blue one lying next to it!?

The reflection on the front blue pill should be orange from the orange pill!?

IT LOOKS GREAT!!!

Not bad. They look a little too metallic to be anything I'd want to swallow though. Try:

- reducing the specular highlight
- increasing the phong highlight
- almost remove the reflection completely
- increase the "roughness" of the material to diffuse the light a bit more
at least on the white side ... the coloured part should be semi-transparent but still not as reflective

Oh, and you might want to frame the shot in the bottom-left corner instead of in the middle on the right.

Also, to make them a little more realistic in shape:

- Create a new set of vertices just beside the middle on the coloured side
- select the whole white part (not including the new vertices) of the pill and scale it up a notch (2-3% should do, maybe less)
- move the white bit so the edge is overlapping the coloured bit a little

This will give the effect that the pill is actually made of two pieces, with one sitting inside the other at the join, just like a real one.
