I have an Abit Fatal1y motherboard, It was pain to get windows to install the Sound i think its realtek I have read the wiki on the Ac97 audio, im not sure if this is what i have? anyway to find the audio id's from inside osx?

Read your Mobo Manual, thats what i did, i the Nforce 3, code, in the nvidia section of the file, there then changed the first part of the (3 code thingys) and well i got it to work with sound i have a Realtek ALC850 7.1 sound Intergrated, and that works a treat
