you could probably get an 867mhz powermac g4 for that much, and almost a mac mini g4 or 1ghz imac g4

Have you tried Craigslist yet? Usually local deals can be cheaper than eBay.

867 ~ 1Ghz Powerbook G4s and iBook G4s are all over the bay for about $100. eMacs for that price too. I would go with a Powerbook Ti, IMHO dey sexy. I just picked a 1Ghz one up for $120 shipped.

If you want to run leopard successfully and get good graphics performance at the same time, the video card is whats going to cost you. Dont buy any G4 under 867mhz, i personally wouldn;t get below dual 1ghz (quicksilver models) can usually find em for 150-300 depending on what else is in them.
