Great forum! I hope this is the right section for this.

I just bought the Canon PIXMA MX700. I have OS 10.3.9, which works fine with the printer. But Microsoft Office, which is still operating in Classic mode, is still trying to print to the old printer, which doesn't exist anymore.

Is the printer just not compatible with Classic Mode or am I missing something? (The latter is very likely.)

for classic you need classic printer setup.
( normally both versions are installed)
