i have a p35 mb,using ich9(not ich9r),and its audio chip is alc888,i found a patch here,but it can only works with 2 channels?have anyone successed with 6channels?how can i do?
the method i used is with alcinject,kext,can mod it to make 6channels?

Currently most are just 2 channel. Taruga is making something for us soon though... maybe 5.1/7.1... :-)

using Alcinject and my optical out shows up as a 5.1 signal on my Sony Digital Audio Control Receiver

i got mine working with AppleDHAPatcherv1.20 (search for it) and alc888.txt (search for that too).

I'm only getting line out, headphone out, and digital out. And I can't even get 5.1 through digital.

I have the acl888 and I think I have only two channel wokking. But I'm not able to verify if all channel works. Because I don't see in the system profiler my audio card. I would like to know how to see it in the system profiler?
