I'm going to buy this board, provided that it has line in/mic working. I think I read in the compatibility list thread that someone had gotten line-in, but I just wanted to double check. Anybody?

I don't have line in working. The front line out port doesn't work for me in 10.5, I think it worked in 10.4.

I have line in working on the back of the motherboard. On the front of my case the mic input doesn't work but the headphone output does.

I have had success using an ichat video session with this setup. My wifes web cam has a built in mic that works over the usb port that also works on my hackintosh. So if you cant get your mic working maybe a usb mic could suffice?

mic works here and input is displayed. so i guess it works. digital out works too
