Just to know

Some shake functions (for example smooth camera) are added into final cut 6, some other in motion 3.

I don't think we'll see a new version of shake.............

What! I am sure we will see a nw version of shake.
1. Apple said it was coming.
2. Apple needs more mac only high end applications that run on there expensive Mac Pro's to keep the Professionals buying them.

Actually Apple discontinued Shake, so your wrong namo.

Ok I should have said there will be a shake replacement instead of a new version of shake to clear things up. It is codenamed phenomenon. http://www.macrumors.com/2006/06/21/end-of...omenon-in-2008/
So bedlight, yes no new version of shake like shake 5, but yes a shake replacement in 2008 made by apple.

I don't think there will be a Shake Replacement, more like a Compositing Solution integrated in FCS, in the Style of Motion. The former Nothing Real core guys (inventors of Shake) all gone to The Foundry in developing Nuke, which is at this point already better than Shake ever was. And Nuke is platformindependent, so a new Shake wouldn't be able to compete, except with a FCS integration, which wouldn't count in big production pipelines..

i except somethin like after effects, motion already looks like that they're going this way
