Anybody else own one of these things? It would be cool if someone wrote a driver and started porting over some applets for this nice keyboard. Any thoughts?

I own the first version of this keyboard with the flip open LCD. I would love to at least see the time on the screen.

Use controllermate to configure the extra keys and here for LCD screen : http://people.roma2.infn.it/%7Esestito/g15...d_Mac_OS_X.html

I've got a standalone app working for the LCD screen. Once I get a clean install done I'll post the link.
(No compiling needed.)

Edit: Google LogitechLCDTool and you should get that page. The link is on the check page int he post by Tafs.
(Make sure you get the version from the entropy.ch forum, not the older Z-10 version.)

That's good, hope it works for Leo OSx86.

Yes, you can see my post in that thread. I only use it for displaying itunes info right now though.

Yeah, I'll give it a go when I get Leo installed. Dumbass here has the wrong install version, it's Intel only! And they mean it!

Ok, I installed the LogitechLCDTool from the forum, the one that works with G15. I get a display on the screen but it is just an arrow in a box. Nothing happens and I dont know how to make it do different things. Someone help?

Make sure to get the update HTML code for the iTunes script. (It's in the forum.)

It won't change until you play through itunes. The other display a picture should work also.
As for other useful scripts, your own your own. The first page in the entropy forum will list the HTML codes you can use to make your own.

Well this is odd, for some reason iTunes already recognizes all my media keys and the volume control. This is with Leo 10.5.1 AMD. I'll try that thing for the G keys.

They're fairly standard that's why. OS X recognizes multimedia keys on my Logitech G15 and new Dell included multimedia keyboard also.

the tutorial is outdated smile.gif
You should try the installation pkg available at http://g15daemon.sf.net

Yes and it was a piece of crap IMHO, I'd rather use USB overdrive.

Specifically the G15 isn't supported by that anyways.

it would be nice if Logitech would just hear our prayers.
