Hi I have real nasty sound problem with my mobbo.

The motherboard uses RealTek ALC 861 Codec and the sound is cracked on the left channel. I tried setting the sampling rate higher but it doesn*t really help.

Any help greately apreciated.

Come on, surely someone has this motherboard or one with the same audio chip. Can you just tell me if your sound quality is fine? Or do you experience left channel being all cracked too?

Well I completely disabled the chip and installed my good old audigy for use in windows and I use the creative usb MP3 + soundblaster for Mac OS. It works and that's fair enough for me
