Hi MacLancer:
Very impressive benchmarks. Dual G5 is a good starting point.
I'm also getting comparable benchmarks on my Dell Inspiron 1300 and someone's MacBook.

Thanks Danyel, this is another comparison for G5 models of late 2005 and I still beaten in the majority of the testing:

Hmm... The main reason those benchmarks are factors better than the G5s is the graphics side of it... I wouldn't be so confident about beating a G5 with an X1900 by such large margins.
XBench is the most hopeless benchmark anyway. I see almost no correlation between XBench scores and real-life performance. I think Geekbench runs much more realistic tests. Shame it's limited to measuring CPU performance.

Very impressive benchmarks (!)
Here's my MSI mPC 915 Home PC as compared to Mac Mini Core Solo (compares very similar):
http://db.xbench.com/merge.xhtml?doc1=258422&doc2=230829The benchmark is with same GMA 950 Chipset on both machines. Once I can get NVidia Driver for OS X working, I'm curious to see how it affects the Benchmarks.

Isn't xbench biased against PPC Macs? Or did that ever get fixed?

In other news: Xbench predicts END OF THE WORLD in 1999!!!!!
Honestly, that pos is verging on malware - well, nuisanceware™ anyway, the program that launched a thousand pointless "OMFG, I put in the 8900GTXXX -penis extender edition- and it scores less than my 950 integrated; WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER!!!" threads. Maybe I should write my own competitor, it'll only involve a couple of random number generators...
