I tried to search about how to do it but i dont find anybody that explains it a little deeper.
I know that the 8400 and 8600 have similiarities in the quadro world
the 8400 to a NVS 290 or a FX 360
and the 8600 to a FX 1700 or FX 370

Is ther anyone that know how to do it cause i´ve read about people who have done that

do you think a editing of the device id will solve the problem?

I'm not sure but g8400 is quite similar to nvs135m.. and I don't know anybody who has CI/QE support with this card.. Am I wrong?

I think even the FX 570 uses the same chipset as 8400gs
Mr.Gosh
What about the Quadro NVS 140m ? is this one also 8400 based?
The card is in my Lenovo R61

You cannot gain QE/CI just because you convert your graphics card to a quadro equivalent, even is more probable that you have better chances converting a quadro to a non-quadro version.

8400 and 8600 are supproted with 10.5.2 update's kexts (at least now with the beta).

The forum search sucks and you both know it.

go to Google and type "search phrase site:insanelymac.com"

Replace search phrase with what your looking for.
