i updated 4.9 to 4.10, everything is fine. but when i tried to install software/application, such as iwork or any in .pkg form, . after double-clicking the .pkg file, the the installer flashed and disappear and the installation stopped without any further progress.

can anybody help find why? i started the root account when updating. does this have any impact to this? or is there any software can do installation.

or any friend can tell me how to find out exactly where is the problem?
