While the patched kernel seemed to do better in the Thread Test, the Vanilla kernel was equal or better everywhere else.

The random disk test saw a 12 point improvement, which is great, because its always the lowest of all scores (for me, anyway). More specifically, Uncached Write went from 11.8 to 16.9, percentage wise, is a huge jump.

Multiple runs on both kernels averaged out to a 6 to 10 point overall (score) improvement with the vanilla kernel, even with a lower score in the thread test.

Anybody else compare vanilla vs. patched kernels? What gains/losses did you notice?
