any luck getting driver for the new nvida 8800GT 512MB? I plan to sell my 8800GTS for a 8800GT...

At the moment, no. Other 8800 cards are working, but not the 8800GT

just bought Asus 512mb EN8800GT


....doesnt work, but really looking for one that does... you wouldnt be intrested in a trade would you , ... less u really need osx like i do heh

shoulin : are you running Leopard ? If so, did you try to inject your vendorid/product id into NVDAResman.kext, GEFORCE.KEXT and NVDANV50HAL.kext ? And if so, how does OSX react WITHOUT any natit ? Does it boot to a black screen (screen turns off as if there were no signal) or does it display something special ?

trying to use anything that esists to get 3d working it messes up and get "need to restart your system"

with no video drivers, just the default it looks perfect, just only 1024 x 768 and no 3d/qi/qe support
