I was having some issues under OS X in my Hackintosh with my onboard sound, so I bought a Creative External 24-bit Sound Blaster Live! and have been using that with no issues... it runs perfectly.

Well my friend has also been having some problems, and he needs to get a good external soundcard that is fully compatible for his Hackintosh. However, as cheap as $60 is, he wants one that is cheaper still. He doesn't need 5.1 sound as he usually just uses a pretty basic set of 2 speakers (no sub or anything) or some cheaper headphones.

Is there a very cheap and basic (but still decent) external sound card that he could get that will be fully compatible with his Hackintosh?
