so it took me hours to finally get uphuck 1.4a installed because i missed the part about partitioning your mbr before installing. so now it works pretty good except i need some drivers.

first is the network card driver rtl8201cl
and second is SATA. i installed the one on the disk and my SATA drive still isnt recognnized.

i searched quite a bit and im pretty tired and frustrated so im now seeking help with these two problems.

also, will os x run on an extended partion? once i get SATA to work i hope to tranfer it to my main SATA drive witch will have 2 xp's, vista and ubuntu linux on it. so i can only put os x on an extended partition. and if i were to do that, could i just copy the files over set the partition to boot and add it to lunix's boot loader? do i need a special program to tranfer the os? i have acronis for windows already.

ps. how do i uninstall drivers i installed but dont need? i installed a network driver that didnt work as well as the SATA driver that didnt work.

i tried this tut on getting SATA to work. but when try to open the file in the terminal the file apears to be empty. should i have installed tubgirl instead of uphuck?
