I've seen touch screen macs before. There was even an article in Macworld about a company that re-makes MacBook Pros as touchscreen tablets.

I'm getting a Dell E153FPT touch screen monitor, but does Leo hav support for touch screen tech? Yeah, its a hackintosh. But I thought to ask here because my hackintosh is fine and runs like a real mac anyway. Besides, its just a question about an OS. And yes, i did pay for Leopard, cost me 130 bucks lol, i couldve gotten a 1TB HD... oh well.

Better to be legal than sorry. Right? tongue.gif smile.gif

I know of touchtroll, or is it trolltouch? they keep changing it rolleyes.gif . So do you guys think it will work? Or do you know of any apps to get it to work? I've been googling it, but I cant find a straight answer.

Any help please?

OS X deos, Leopard does, Macbook Pro 2008 and Macbook Air both have models available with touchscreen.

Well, I know that the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro (Early 2008) both have Multi-touch TRACKPADS, but what if I get a touchscreen monitor for Leopard? Will that work?

I was very surprised to find that leopard natively recognised my built in touch screen in my Fujitsu P1620.
However, I have never been able to work out how to calibrate the screen properly (it's out at the edges by about 2cm).
So, yes, OS X has native touchscreen support, but no consfiguration support that I have been able to find yet....

People have got touch screens going, I have a p1620 tablet pc with USB built in touchscreen. However, getting it calibrated has been a problem for me.
I would be interested to know your mileage, there are some third party drivers that I have also tried but without success yet.
Have a look at touch-base.com, they have been quite helpful and are happy to compile drivers for os x.

Yes, itwonld support your touchscreen. Please search tx1000z in the forum for further instruction. One thing is not working w/ the tx 10002 family is booting w/o adapter & sleeping.
