I installed JaS 10.4.8 and then upgraded to koolkal 10.4.10 as instructed in this guide

I followed that guide and everytime I install the Natit DioboliK installer my system reboots and gets vertical white and black lines and then goes to a black screen. I have an ATI x1600 Mobility device ID 0x71c5 with 256mb ram.

How can I get this card to work, and also how can I recover from a bad video driver install that turns my screen black? How is it possible to boot into a fail-safe terminal and then how would I revert a driver install?

I have the same problem regarding my 6400 Inspiron. X1400 ATI is installed. Read a few fixes through the ATIRadeonX1000.kext folder, but did not solve issue. Any help would be greatly apprecaited!!
