Full Version: Disable recovery partition?

Does anyone know of a way to disable the recovery software from loading if its invoked for some reason or another? What has happened is I tried to boot to the recovery partition using the Menu & - buttons on the remote. Now after I have done this, I can't get it to boot normally continously anymore. What happens is when I plug in the appletv, it will boot into the regular os fine, then if I unplug it and start it again, the next boot will be recovery, then the next boot will be normal and so on.

I have modified the appletv, disabled the watchdog and other things, and don't want or need the recovery utility, is there a way to disable it or make it so when it tries to boot to it, it just boots to the regular OSBoot partition? I believe the recovery partition is needed for normal boot so I can't delete it completely. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,
Chris
