Okay so I'm sick and tired of waiting for 8800 series cards to be supported.
I've heard that the X1950 cards perform almost as well... which is the best card to get?

I would recomend a X1950pro by Powercolor. Mine works perfectly without any glitches.

Yeah I'm lookin at the pros... they're not too bad on price...
But I'm wondering if they could keep up with my GTS... highly doubtful...
Can they be overclocked to XT or XTX speeds?

I got mine close to XT performance, but still, it works great for OSX, Warcraft runs perfectly.

Here is a link for
3dmark06 score.

Yeeeesh... my 3DMark06 score is a LOT higher than that...
And the XT is REALLY hard to find, almost as much as the XTX.
ATI cards suffer from the 512MB bug too, yes? So no 512MB cards?

Does the PowerColor Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB fully work? QE/CI...?
does it need any patches? I have JaS 10.4.8 version with kernel 8.8.1 will it fully work without any patches?

I'm replacing my 1950pro with a XTX in a couple of days, its a 512MB one so I am guessing it wont work.
Anyway, the 1950pro works with JCOOLS installer then overwrite everything with Bronya's except for ATINDRV.kext. Works for me.
