Anyone get it running on the Athlon XP 3800 X2 Dual core, and if so, which board did you use.

Im using an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe mobo. But i dont think that really matter tho.
I havent been able to get the sound to work yet, and i havent tried getting SATA to work yet either.

Otherwise its runs really smooth. Ive found video very watchable too (but that could just be my 7800GT, i dunno)

Same here. I have DFI INIFINY nForce4 SLI

i get temporary hangs on some boots, nothing on other boots. don't know the reason (yet )

I'm using an ECS NForce4-A939. No ethernet, sound took a bit to set up.
But my system is pretty unstable when running in dual core mode. If i boot normally, OSX sees both of the cores, but everything is buggy and it crashes often. If i pass in platform=x86pc, everythings fast and smooth, but OSX cannot see the second core. guess its sort of a tradeoff between speed and stability.....

But when I try to install the mac 10.4.8 it hangs on initial screen, I've tried with a USB DVD-ROM and they didn't find the IDE disk
Any suggestion?

I have a Gigabyte K8NXP-9 mainboard and all is working fine...
The only problem I have is reboot that doesn't work with 10.4.8 but only with 10.4.7
I hope to solve this problem with the new 10.4.9 release

i have an a8n32-sli board, only disc that ever got os x installed was uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3, and after installation it wont boot off the hard drive, the drive is connected to one of the black sata ports (nforce sata controller i think)

I own a 3800+ X2 and i have no problems with the uphuck dvd 1.3. My motherboard is the ATi X200IPX. everthing runs exect for Sata.

I'm beginning to tink the3 problem is in the bios I'm currently downloading the upchuck 10.4.9 ver 1.3 dvd and maybe I'll be able to access the second core on my machine

Hi, I have the same processor and ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE, which I have installed with JAS 10.4.8 INTEL/AMD SSE2/SSE3 kernell 8.8.1(I think)
How is your SATA working, I am looking for this for days and can't find the answers. I installed the system with this SATA DVD.
