OK, so, this doesn't exactly fit the forum; I tried searching for an answer in many many forums to no avail so if I missed something I'm sorry. Hopefully someone will know the answer to this. Basically I'm an intermediate computer user. I installed OSx86 on my laptop, but I had no way to access the internet because there was no compatible device on my laptop (it's a MicronPC TransPort T1000- Intel 845MP Chipset, Intel mobile Pentium 4 processor, etc; I can provide more details if needed.) So, I bought a Dell miniPCI 1350 card which has the Broadcom chipset, in the hopes that a Dell wireless card would work on a non-Dell system. I asked around and I had mixed opinions on whether this was possible. I have been able to install the card in Windows along with the Broadcom program provided through Dell. However, the device manager now gives a Code 10 (the device cannot start). Does anyone know if it is absolutely impossible for this configuration to work, or conversely know of any solutions to this problem? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
