I just purchased a Belkin F5D7010yy v.3000, which I'm pretty sure is using the Ralink 2560 chipset. I've tried every driver I could find but without result. Either nothing happens when I plug in the card (i.e. wrong or old driver) or I get an immediate kernel panic when plugging it in. In the latter case I suspect I have actually found the right driver, since the driver seems to respond to the card when inserted. But how come it wont work?

I've tried the drivers att Ralink's website, some old Belkin-drivers (just old version of Ralink drivers though) and various drivers I found on this forum. I've read several forum posts all over the Internet about people having the exact same card as me, that got it working perfectly with the Ralink drivers (for example this guy and this guy). Most posts are pretty old though, might it be that the drivers doesn't work with OS X 10.4.10?

I have tried the card in two PowerBooks, both running 10.4.10. Anyone know what's wrong?
