Hey guys, been doing tons!! of research and can not understand why my Jas 10.4.6 or the Jas 10.4.7 disk isn't working. i've updated my computer from a 955x chipset and 940 D processor to an "Nvidia 650i Board and Core 2 Duo E6750 Processor". i had everything working fine on my old setup now i cant even get it to load on this new rig.

i do the whole F8 load steps and when it does its "Loading / \ " thing, my computer restarts. im' running XP Pro just perfectly. here are my specs

Chip: Core 2 Duo E6750
MB: GA-N650SLI-DS4 (gigabyte board)
Ram: OCZ (4) x 1gig PC6400 (800mhz)
Hard Drives:
1 x 500 SATA II (XP Pro Drive)
1 x 320 SATA II (Pro Tools Recording Drive)
1 x 150 ATA133 IDE Drive (Soon to be Mac Drive)
1 x 250 ATA133 IDE Drive (Recording Back Up Drive)
1 x LG DVD Burner (IDE)


My Buddy told me that the OS X doesn't support the Nvidia 650i chipset. Is this true?
will i have to buy an Asus P5k-E board, which i read by ASAP18, that its compatible?


if so i need to know ASAP before i spend the money on bills haha computer before bills.
