I have a full functioning "mac book" with the exception of on board lan. I am booting native to OSX so i cannot obtain the device ID of it and OSX does not see it. I have my realtek 8187b 802.11b/g card working and its setup as eth0. I have tried changing it to en1 but osx just changes it back to en0 after rebooting.( yes i did repair permissions after editing the networkinginterfaces.plist) So I was wondering if anybody knows how i can get this working. I THINK its a 100 Pro VE and I have followed the instructions on the other thread to a T and havn't gotten it up. By the way Realtek sent me a driver for the realtek 8187B 802.11b/g not 8187L driver so if anybody knows how i can share that with insanelymac let me know. I know it would help alot of people. Thank you for any information on how to get my 10/100 up.

P.S. is there no native TV OUT with osx86, i just get a weird screen on the tv when i switch to it.

to get the LAN to work

I used the kext from here

follow the instructions included then you have to modify the device id to 0x10928086
I missed it the 1st time thru it says device id 0x10298086 so just switch around the 1029 to 1092 and it worked.

I'm really interested in that file realtek sent you as I can't get my wireless to work.
