Hey guys, I was looking for an expresscard 34mm to use with my sony vgn-n385e notebook. I have done a little bit of searching and was able to find this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=28463

However this seems a bit outdated and it only points to 54mm cards. Is there anyone that knows anything about these 34mm cards?

thanks in advance

Doing some more research here:

It looks like the only 34mm pcie expresscard {censored} is going to be the new 802.11n cards. Fortunately I just bought a new router and chose to get the 802.11n. If this "upgrade" works I will be happy.

Here's the three I've found on newegg:

BELKIN F5D8073 N Wireless ExpressCard Adapter - Retail $66.99

BELKIN F5D8071 N1 Wireless ExpressCard - Retail $89.99

D-Link DWA-643 Xtreme N Notebook ExpressCard - Retail $99.99

Hopefully these cards have osx drivers. I'm assuming that If they have osx drivers that I'll be able to get them working. I'll be sure to let you guys know what I found out.

It sounds like the F5D8071 might be able to work.

If native mac osx users have to do this crazy shitgoose hack to get it to work. I can't wait to add another challenge to it, getting it to work on a computer that mac osx doesn't natively run on.

So this means that my dumbass is going to go buy one of these things, get very excited when I get it, plug it up, and still not get it to work in my uphuck 1.4.9 1.4i

I guess this is what it means to put the angst in gangsta.

Did you get the card and try it out? What chipset does that belkin card use?
